Eliminator Pump Heavy Duty Slurry Hose

GPM, Inc. has released a new accessory product for our Eliminator Slurry Pumps. We are now stocking GPMCO corrugated heavy duty slurry hose. As a means of simplifying submersible pump installations, slurry hose is regularly used as a pump discharge line. This tough, but flexible hose, "eliminates" the need for people to enter a confined sump area to break hard-piping. It also "eliminates" the requirement for quick-connect flanges, which so often wear and leak over time. Another example of how a better pump can simplify installation, maintenance, and reduce pump system life cycle costs.

GPM Eliminator Pump Saves Customer $158,000

Pumps and Systems Magazine has recognized GPM's Eliminator Pump as a 2009 finalist in their "Success Story of the Year" awards. The opportunity was developed by Corrosion Fluid, which distributes Eliminator Pumps. The end user, a steel mill, replaced rubber lined pumps with high-chrome Eliminator's and has documented over $158,000 in savings since the 2004 replacement.

GPM Expands Bismarck Operations

GPM, Inc. has recently opened a new sales and service facility at 2792 E. Broadway in Bismarck, ND. The previous sales office was not able to support rotating equipment repair. With the North Dakota business environment favorable to heavy industry, petrochemical, and power utilities, the demand for local equipment service and repair is expected to increase.

GPM Q1 Customer Survey Results

GPM recently conducted their Q1 customer satisfaction survey. The results were positive with a 95% overall customer satisfaction rating. GPM plans to improve customer satisfaction through investments in additional sales personnel, inside sales support, and by utilizing an updated information system that will be implemented this year.
