About Us
Pete Gemuenden, Sr. has been selling industrial equipment since 1960. He founded GPM in 1978 with a
three-column philosophy, which would support the business through stable and unstable business times.
- Provide service and equipment through commissioned sales.
- Become a distributor for various products.
- Manufacture a needed product.
The principle companies we represent are targeted toward the utility power and mining markets. We are
able to provide equipment for each process within these sectors.
By distributing certain products, we are able to approach our smaller heavy industrial customers with
on-the-shelf products. These are everyday products which are regularly required for a variety of uses.
In 1989, the manufacturing column began with the Eliminator slurry pump.
Since our inception we’ve physically expanded our facility four times. The most recent expansion completed
in 2005. We’ve grown to 30 employees in three states.
We continue to be a privately held company, acting under Pete’s leadership, with consultation from a
board of directors.
